February 2nd is World Tutu Day, referring to the iconic dancing outfit worn around a ballerina’s waist. The first tutu was introduced in the Paris Opera Ballet by dancer Marie Taglioni during a performance called “La Sylphide”, which was the first to feature dancing on ‘tip-toes’. World Tutu day is a day to celebrate ballet, creativity and the joy that it brings to people. This time last week some of our dancers came together in the studio to rehearse for this year’s Celebration of Dance event! It was a great chance for everyone to watch each other and celebrate each other’s dances and performance’s. ⭐️ Disney Team 2023 ⭐️ This time last week our Performance Team were in Disneyland Paris. They put on a spectacular show at the Videopolis Theatre in Discoveryland. We couldn’t be prouder of every single dancer, the showcase was absolutely stunning. What an amazing experience and so much fun was had by all the dancers and their families over the 3 days in Disney. A special thank you to our chaperones that gave up their time to help with the 20 second quick changes - behind the scenes was as seamless as the performance!
