Lorna trained at Bird College of Dance and Performance, where she gained a BA (Hons) in Dance and Musical Theatre Performance. Upon graduating, Lorna toured the world performing with Carnival Cruise Lines, and then went on to perform in a variety of shows after returning to the UK. After dancing professionally, Lorna went on to re-train as a teacher and received her PGCE, as well as training as an ISTD teacher. 

Lorna has been teaching for over ten years, working alongside various performing arts schools, and full-time colleges, as a teacher and course leader. Lorna has a passion for Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Tap dance and enjoys choreographing within these genres. 

Lorna is constantly looking at ways to develop and grow as a teacher and she has recently trained in Acrobatic Arts and Progressive Ballet Technique to help further develop the students she teaches. Having briefly taught for Dance Act in 2011, Lorna is loving being part of the Dance Act team again!
