About Fiona

Fiona started dancing at the age of 3.  As a child she performed in many local shows, theatre productions & pantomimes and made her West End debut at the age of 9 in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ with Philip Schofield.


Fiona trained as a professional dancer at the London Studio Centre where she achieved a Higher Diploma in Jazz Theatre Dance and her ISTD teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap & Modern.  She then went on to further her training at Bird College where she gained a BA(Hons) Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance.  She has also gained her Licentiate teaching qualification in Imperial Classical Ballet.


Fiona’s professional performing credits include:  Lead dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines, Opera North UK tour & Bregenz Festival Austria, Various Pantomimes, Bo Selecta – A Tribute To Michael Jackson for Channel 4, choreographer & dancer for ‘Better Man’ a tribute to Robbie Williams.


Fiona has taught at many dance & performing arts schools, but joined Dance Act in 2008 where she has stayed, fulfilling her passion as a dance teacher and passing on her love and knowledge of dance to the next generation.
